OHIP Coverage and Additional Fees Information

At our clinic, we are committed to transparency and patient-centered care. Below is a summary of service coverage and any applicable fees.

✓ OHIP-Covered Services

We proudly offer fully covered diagnostic imaging services to all patients with a valid Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) card.

  • No Fees apply for any diagnostic imaging procedures for patients who present a valid OHIP card at the time of their appointment.

 

Additional Fees for All Patients

These fees apply regardless of OHIP status:

• Missed Appointment Fee

  • Applies to all missed appointments without prior cancellation or rescheduling notice.

  • Fee: $90.00

• Diagnostic Imaging CD Release

  • Online access to images is FREE for all patients.

  • If a physical CD is requested, a fee will apply.

  • Fee: $5.00

For Uninsured Patients

We offer select imaging services on a self-pay basis for patients without OHIP coverage.

 

Out-of-Pocket Diagnostic Imaging Services

Immigration X-Rays

  • Required for Canada’s immigration medical examinations.

  • Fee: $60.00

  • Requirements: A referral and eMedical document must be provided.

• Chiropractic X-Ray Interpretation

  • X-rays are covered by OHIP; however, radiologist interpretation incurs an additional charge.

  • Fees vary. Please contact us for exact pricing.

 

General Out-of-Pocket Fees (No OHIP)

Appointment & Payment Information

  • OHIP card required at the time of appointment for insured services.

  • Payment is due at the time of service for all uninsured services and additional fees. Please note that payment is cash only, as the clinic does not have debit or credit card facilities. We kindly ask that you bring exact change, as the clinic may not be able to provide change.

  • Consent Process: All prices are communicated to patients in advance—either verbally or via text message. Appointments are only booked after patients confirm and consent to the services and any applicable fees.

If you believe you have been charged for an insured service or access to an insured service, please contact our office at 519-752-6829. We are committed to resolving such issues and will provide a full refund where applicable.
